Nowadays, there is a popular argument that we should massively use nuclear energy to meet the expanding requirement of power in an age of overpopulation.
Personally, I believe this assertion is problematic because it underestimates the uncertain risks resulting from this energy.
The dangers of nuclear energy cannot be ignored. Leaks and explosions at nuclear power plants produce severe radiation, which can cause illness and death. A prime example is the Chernobyl nuclear accident in Ukraine, which killed tens of thousands of people and caused the abandonment of an entire city.
In conclusion, nuclear power is not a best option for the security of human beings.
