个人认为:The structure of the backbone 是主语 shows是谓语 ，that后面是宾语从句，however是插入语。但是感觉宾从是不是太长了.....是不是还可以再进行分析？

2.He refused to develop projection technology,reasoning that if he made and sold projectors,then exhibitors would purchase only machine-a projector-from him instead of several.
只知道He是主语，refused to develop 是谓语，projection是宾语。从reasoning that开始后面的就不知道要怎么分析了，另外 refused to develop 又是什么成分，是不定式吗？
小女现在在准备托福考试，但是从小语法学得不好，都是考完试就忘记的，现在发现很多长难句理解不透。当然上面两句还是比较好理解，但是就是不知道应该怎么分析成分，希望各位大侠指点指点，另外可以说说考托福和sat要具备哪些语法知识吗~~？？感激不尽！！！
