anything,否定句中用anything，肯定句中用something，主要看主句。

前者代表某物，后者代表任何物。

句子不能翻译为，我不认为怎么怎么，
应该翻译为 我认为怎么怎么。
就是there isnot anything 它显然不太符合含义意思

all depends on ur language feel, i don't like to use really academic way to explan that, when you say something isn't in somewhere, use anything and when u sure something is in somewhere, use something.
