2. sending and reading e-mail has quickly become one of the most common daily activities around the world, either for business or for pleasure. now, more and more teachers and students are using this form of communication to improve their language skills, expecially english.
in the past, teachers often organized pen friends projects where their students would exchange letters with another country. however, the turn-around time for sending and receiving tranditional letters(and then follow-up replies) takes too much time. futhermore, students have to pay international postge to send the letters, something the students might be unwilling to do. with e-mail, however, messages can be sent at a cilck of a button at school, home, or an internet cafe. instead of waiting days od weeks for a respnse, students can receive a reply within days , hours or even minutes.
e-mail has a lot of offer for language learners and teachers in the classroom.
