定语从句相关问题求教

I have two grammars,___are of great use. 答案是both of which
In our factory there are 2000 workers,two thirds of ___are women. 答案是whom不是which
I have bought 2 ballpens,___writes well. 答案是neither of which.
这三题都是部分of整体的类型，为什么有的用which 有的用whom.特别是第一题和第二题感觉都是一样的东西啊？
还有一题：Is ___ some German friends visited last week?答案是this the school而不是this school where
答案解释说是想成：This is the school that some German friends visited last week。可是又有一题是这样说的：This is the hotel ___last months.答案是where they stayed.瞬间又感觉迷茫了，不是一样的东西吗？
我从句这一块学的不好，肯定各位多多指点。另外可否告知我一些从句中的规矩，比如：先行词被only修饰时要用that 不用which之类的。不甚感激，在此叩谢。

stay是不及物动词，从句中不缺成分

which指代物，who指代人，第一题的grammar“语法书”是物，第二题的worker工人是人。

Is ___ some German friends visited last week? 你把答案填进去再转化成陈述句，填this the school就变成this is the school some German friends visited last week. 先行词是school，关系词是tthat或者which，因为作从句中visit的宾语可以省略。

但是填this school where就变成了this school is where some German friends visited last week. 这样关系副词where就没有了先行词。

This is the hotel ___last months.填where they stayed是因为 hotel是where的先行词。

具体语法规则网上可以搜到很多，需要慢慢理解，多思考多练习。
