Should students make friends online? Some people say yes. Internet helps people make many friends. Chatting on line, students can express their feelings and opinions more freely, and even get help for their foreign language studies.
Others, however, think students should not. They say making friends online is a waste of time, which should be spent more meaningfully on study. Besides, some students get cheated online.
It is my opinion that students should place their study, health and safety before other things. As for friendship, we can readily find it in our classmates and other people around us.

Parents and teachers are always worried about what kind of friends their children and students are making. When we are little we learn never to take candy from strangers, and now that we are in a technological world, we are told to distrust people we meet online. After barrels of warnings thrown at you, when someone talk to you online your first thought is what does this person want from me. I think that's the saddest thing. Since when do we distrust people so much? Sure there are scammer and other "bad people" out there, but not everyone's bad. Having online friends could open your eyes to new worlds and discuss on topics freely, talking to people from all over the world, learning new things and exchange ideas. Of course, it's not good to spend too much time online and ignore everything else, reality is as important as cyberspace, but it's still good to have some online friends who you can tell things to without them knowing who you are, and they can help you out with your problems, it avoids embarrassment and would make you feel better

Surfing the net is the favourite pastime of many teenagers nowadays. People from all walks of life are glued to their handphones or computers no matter where they are. Hence,what are the advantages and disadvantages of surfing the net?

Internet connect people around the world. Everyone can know each other through social websites。 We can also communicate with our friends and family who are far away in the blink of an eye.

However,some people may get addicted to the Internet. They will spend most of their time surfing the net and neglect their studies or work. Besdies, when people are too used to chatting online, they may become unable to communicate in reality.

All in all, there are pros and cons of the Internet. We should be able to refrain ourselves from being too obssessed to them. This would definitely aid us to maximize the boons of the Internet

Recycling

Recycling is very important to prevent our resources from depleting too fast. We should recycle things that still can be used such as old newspapers, aluminium cans and glassware. We should bring them to recycling centres to be proccessed and made into new things. This can help us to reduce the amount of garbage produced everyday. We should also use both sides of the paper to prevent wastage. Before buying or throwing things away, do remember to think twice. This can help us to save some money. We should try to save our Mother Earth.
